How to stay young !

An inspiring read. I think we all have been sucked in by the commercial world around us which is full of competition and zeal. Lets loosen ourselves a bit. Lets worry a little less and celebrate ‘LIFE’. Some great tips on how to stay young (whether whatever your age might be).

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay ‘them’

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don’t take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

just for the sake of argument, the opposite of all these

    1. Forget age means forget birthdays, isn’t that what Mormons do? Forget weight and risk early warning signs of bad health etc. Forget height and well apart from marriage, certain jobs in air force and jockeys, who cares anyway.

    2. From grouches you learn how to deal with negative attitudes, to only have cheerful friends is not to be a true friend at all, are you suggesting we all be self-obsessed people only around for the good times?

    3. In short to become a jack of all trades, need to keep your mind focused on one thing, that is your goal in life, unless of course, your goal is to just learn whatever you can. Do what you love till death and you mght just avoid Alzheimers.

    4. Enjoy everything, including complex things, life wasn’t meant to be simple.

    5. And be branded a nutjob heading towards the mental asylum.

    6. No argument.

    7. No argument.

    8. Definitely no argument.

    9. You need to express all emotions, including guilt, maybe there is a reason why you feel guilty which you can learn from.

    10. You know, repeated statements of love can get a bit annoying, even to your nearest and dearest.
